Art galleries Galleries such as Mbantua, Papunya Tula and Gallery Gondwana regularly feature exhibitions from prominent and emerging Central Australian artists. Also check out the art and craft at Ngurratjuta Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Art Centre and the Aboriginal Art and Culture Centre. Hot air ballooning A balloon flight is the perfect way to appreciate the colours of the desert at dawn. Alice Springs Desert Park The Desert Park showcases the natural and cultural environment of the Red Centre in three desert habitats. Larapinta Trail The Larapinta Trail is a 233-kilometre walking track along the backbone of the West MacDonnell Ranges, from Alice Springs to Mt Sonder. The Trail is divided into 12 sections and has been described as one of the top 10 walks in the world.
