Ben Sparrow is a spatial scientist working with the NT Dept. of Natural Resources, Environment, The Arts and Sport. Currently he is managing the Land Resources Branch in the Southern NT. Ben has extensively used Remote Sensing and GIS technologies throughout his career – Primarily focussed on quantifying, Mapping and Monitoring Natural Resources – Mostly in Arid areas on the NT and SA. Currently Ben is a part time PhD student at CDU with research focusing on improved methods/ technologies to map arid zone vegetation. |
